Times are a'changing

It's been a while since i've visited my DA, and how the times are changing. I've finished school, now i'm at uni studying medicine. I now have free time - sort of. oh, i got these random green Ps in the mail, to replace my red Ps (which look so much cooler btw).
But most important of all - I GOT AN SLR! yay!
Got a Canon 400D with a 17-85mm IS and a 50 f/1.8, gonna go out and buy a bag for it 2moro, probs a crumpler, and then maybe buy a battery grip off Lew.
I really wanna go shove my shiny new slr in someone's face, but alas, i was the last of my photo-ey friends to get one, except for victor, but victor's too nice for me to shove it in his face (plus, he has that awesome triple display set-up at home which im jealous of)
Strangely, im yet to really use the 17-85...been mostly playing round with the 50, in awe of its ability to take brilliant photos inside.
anywayz, i must get to bed, its 4am at the moment...no idea why im up
